Migrate from Tithe.ly

Complete guide to transfer your people and giving data to GraceBase

  1. Log into your Tithe.ly account at tithe.ly
  2. Navigate to "People" from the main menu
  3. Click the "Export" button in the top right
  4. Select "Export All People" or filter as needed
  5. Choose "CSV" format
  6. Click "Export" and save the CSV file

  1. Go to the "Giving" section in Tithe.ly
  2. Navigate to "Reports"
  3. Select "Giving History" report
  4. Set your date range (we recommend exporting all history for complete records)
  5. Click "Export to CSV"
  6. Save the contributions CSV file

  1. Go to "Giving" → "Recurring"
  2. Click "Export"
  3. Save the recurring gifts CSV

Note: Recurring gifts will need to be re-established by donors in GraceBase. We'll send them a friendly invitation email.

  1. Log into your GraceBase dashboard
  2. Go to "Members" page
  3. Click the "Import" button
  4. Upload your Tithe.ly People CSV file
  5. Review the column mapping (GraceBase auto-detects Tithe.ly columns)
  6. Click "Import Members"

  1. Go to "Donations" in GraceBase
  2. Click "Import Donations"
  3. Upload your Tithe.ly giving history CSV
  4. Map the columns (amount, date, fund, donor)
  5. Click "Import"

  1. Review member count matches Tithe.ly
  2. Spot check 5-10 member profiles for accuracy
  3. Verify donation totals match your reports
  4. Test a giving statement to confirm history
