Migrate from Planning Center

Export from Planning Center People and import into GraceBase

  1. Log into Planning Center at people.planningcenteronline.com
  2. Click on "People" in the sidebar
  3. Select the people you want to export (or use "Select All")
  4. Click the "Actions" dropdown
  5. Choose "Export"
  6. Select "CSV" format
  7. Choose fields to include (we recommend: name, email, phone, address, birthdate, membership)
  8. Download the CSV file

  1. Go to giving.planningcenteronline.com
  2. Navigate to "Donations"
  3. Set your desired date range
  4. Click "Export"
  5. Download the CSV file

  1. Log into your GraceBase dashboard
  2. Go to "Members" page
  3. Click the "Import" button
  4. Upload your Planning Center CSV file
  5. Review the column mapping (GraceBase auto-detects Planning Center columns)
  6. Click "Import Members"

  1. Go to "Donations" in GraceBase
  2. Click "Import Donations"
  3. Upload your Planning Center Giving CSV
  4. Map the columns for donor, amount, date, and fund
  5. Click "Import"

  1. Compare member counts between Planning Center and GraceBase
  2. Spot check 5-10 member profiles for accuracy
  3. Verify donation totals match your PCO reports
  4. Generate a test giving statement
