Migrate from ChurchTrac

Export your data from ChurchTrac and import into GraceBase

  1. Log into your ChurchTrac account at churchtrac.com
  2. Navigate to "People" from the main menu
  3. Click the "Export" button in the toolbar
  4. Select "Export to CSV"
  5. Choose which fields to include (we recommend all available fields)
  6. Click "Download" and save the CSV file

  1. Navigate to "Contributions" from the main menu
  2. Click "Reports"
  3. Select "Contribution Detail Report"
  4. Set your date range (we recommend exporting all history)
  5. Click "Export to CSV"
  6. Save the CSV file

  1. Log into your GraceBase dashboard
  2. Go to "Members" page
  3. Click the "Import" button
  4. Upload your ChurchTrac CSV file
  5. Review the column mapping (GraceBase auto-detects ChurchTrac columns)
  6. Click "Import Members"

  1. Go to "Donations" in GraceBase
  2. Click "Import Donations"
  3. Upload your ChurchTrac contributions CSV
  4. Map the columns for donor, amount, date, and fund
  5. Click "Import"

  1. Compare member counts between ChurchTrac and GraceBase
  2. Spot check 5-10 member profiles for accuracy
  3. Verify donation totals match your ChurchTrac reports
  4. Generate a test giving statement
